HOUSE RULES


Resort World Rentals is proud to offer you vacation accommodations which have been selected to ensure your vacation enjoyment. Please remember each unit is individually owned and therefore reflects the tastes of each owner. Most properties are available for your viewing when not occupied. Since we are unable to make other arrangements upon your arrival, we suggest that you inspect the property personally if you have specific personal requirements or are concerned with the quality.
Our office is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday for your convenience. Please feel free to use our toll free number 800 752-7111 for making your reservations. Our office is closed on Sundays.
If you have any questions regarding the unit you have reserved after your reservation has been confirmed, please allow us to answer them for you on our local office number 850 234-1418, as we cannot accept any other than your initial reservation request on our 800 line.

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION


We make it easy to make a reservation with us! Our vacation specialists will help you in your choice of a vacation home.
We’ll first need your name and address for our mailing list. Then we will ask if you have selected a Beach House or Condominium and the dates you’d like to vacation. If you have not made a selection, our vacation specialist will assist you in your choice. We will ask (1) the location you’d prefer: Gulf front, Gulf side, or off beach (2) how many people you’ll need to accommodate and (3) the price range you’d like to stay within.
During our in-season period we have one week minimum reservations on Beach Houses (rental runs from Saturday to Saturday) and a 4 night minimum on Condos and Town homes. Reservations for less than a full week are available on many of our properties during the off season. Please check with our rental staff for availabilities.

PAYMENT


To confirm your reservation, you will need to send an advance rent payment of $200.00 on a Condo or Town home. To confirm a Beach House, advance rent payment must be received in full. All advance rent must be paid within 2 weeks of date of booking. Upon receipt of your check, a confirmation letter will be forwarded to you confirming your reservation. Any balance due at check-in must be paid in CASH, TRAVELERS CHECKS OR CERTIFIED CHECKS. No personal checks or credit card charges.

GRILLING


Grilling is not permitted except on concrete surfaces. Do not attempt to use outdoor grills on decks, porches or near wooded areas.

SMOKING


All of our units are non-smoking.

SECURITY DEPOSITS


All of our properties require a $200.00 security deposit to be paid. The purpose of the security deposit is to protect the property and contents, as well as you. Please report to our office any damages upon your check-in. Once you have checked out, our inspectors will ensure the property has been left in proper order (clean and damage free). Security deposits will be mailed back to you within 30 days following your departure with any necessary deductions noted. If a credit card was used for your security deposit, the credit slip will be destroyed when the unit has passed inspection.

CANCELLATION


Once your reservations have been confirmed by payment and you are unable to fulfill you obligation to occupy a rental unit, Resort World must be notified in writing. All attempts will be made to re-rent the property but, if we are unable to rent the unit, then no money will be returned. If the unit is re-rented, a 10% cancellation fee or $30.00 whichever is greater, will be deducted and the balance of the contract amount will be returned.

CHECK IN


When you arrive in Panama City Beach, your key will be picked up at the Resort World office at 6104 Thomas Drive. As a landmark, we have a large sign saying “Vacation Rentals” and a large blue and white lifeguard stand out front.
Please note that check-in time is 2:00 PM Sunday through Friday and 4:00 PM on Saturday; and check-out time is 10:00 AM. We are open from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday. We are closed Sundays. Please notify us if arrangements need to be made for other arrival times.
In order to allow sufficient time to prepare the property for your use, we ask that you not request early occupancy. Upon arrival, you’ll receive 2 sets of keys and directions to your rental unit. We can make arrangements for an after hours check-in if you expect to arrive late only if your reservation is paid in full. Remember, all properties are individually owned and should be cared for as your own.

ACCOMMODATIONS


All houses and condos are equipped for normal housekeeping. Each unit includes an electric coffee maker and toaster within the basic kitchen equipment. Linens are supplied, but you will need to bring beach towels. You will also need to bring paper products, condiments and detergent, etc., with you. All units have color cable T.V. and most have washers, dryers, microwave ovens, dishwashers and telephones.
Please respect our owner’s locked closets in the unit.

CHECK OUT


All houses, condos and town homes must be vacated by 10:00 AM on check-out day. NO EXCEPTIONS. We ask that this policy be recognized by all guests. A $50 per hour charge will occur for each hour past check out time. Before you leave, be sure all furniture is straightened; all trash is in plastic bags and lock all windows and doors. Then return your keys to our office. Our inspection crews will check to be sure all is in order after your departure. Have a safe Trip. Be certain to double check for any items let in the unit. There is a $15.00 C.O.D. fee for all items returned to you. Please call our office for arrangements to return any items.

MAINTENANCE


Every effort is made to keep each property and its equipment in good working order. Please notify our office of any difficulty you encounter during your stay so repairs can be made. No rebates will be made for mechanical failures.

DAMAGES


We ask our guests to report any breakage or damage to us upon occurrence and settle the matter before leaving. If there is any damage to a unit, the renter does agree to be responsible for any damage done by himself, his family, guests or pets. All rental units are checked between guests carefully by our inspection crews for breakage or damage. Guests are not permitted to move furniture within the unit. Recreation vehicles are not allowed to connect to utilities on the property, nor may the maximum number for the party be exceeded when a recreation al vehicle parks at the unit.

PHONES


All of our units are equipped with telephones. There is a charge for directory assistance. If we must bill you for long distance calls placed during your occupancy, a $10.00 charge will be added to the billable calls. We encourage you to use a calling card or cell phone for long distance calls.

PETS


Most rental properties do not allow pets. Units allowing pets are limited to not more than 2 house broken domestic animals. A $50.00 fee, plus sales tax, is charged for flea exterminations on all reservations allowing a pet. PETS FOUND IN PROPERTIES NOT ALLOWING PETS IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE EVICTION. To avoid eviction, please declare all pets.

HOUSEKEEPING


Your rental unit will be clean upon arrival. This is a standard that Resort World is proud of. Upon check-out, Resort World housekeepers will clean the unit and launder all linens which is included in the price of the other fee reflected on the confirmation letter.
